★太陽系外惑星系に名前を付けてみませんか！
このプロジェクトに参加できるのは、国際天文学連合（以下、IAU）が認定した「宇宙に関心がある団体（以下、愛好者団体）」です。今月（2014年12月）「松江星の会」を登録しました。

（注）団体のロゴを間違って「松江天文同好会」時代のものを登録しましたが、変更手続きが面倒なのでこのままにしておきます。
★命名スケジュールは下記①～④の通りです。
①と②について、メーリングリスト（以下、ML）等で当会の皆さんとアイデアを出し合ってチャレンジしたいと思います。是非、ご参加下さい。
随時ML等でアナウンスする予定ですが、ひらめいた時点でMLにコメントをアップしていただいて結構です。

惑星系: ιDraconis（りゅう座イオタ星）3.3等星
命名: Yamatanoorochi
提案説明:
Yamatanoorochi is a dragon of the legend which appears in the ancient Izumo myth of Japan.
Quadrantids(iota Draconids) appear in January every year.
The spectacular view of shooting stars is seen as fire spouting from the mouth of Yamatanoorochi.
こんな惑星です。
惑星の質量: 木星の8.8倍、地球の2800倍（かなり重い！）
公転周期: 510日
軌道長半径: 1.275AU(天文単位) 地球と火星の中間位の距離です。

全世界からの各提案への有効投票総数は573,242でした。

The committee appreciate all of your efforts in putting these proposals and we find a lot of high quality ones but unfortunately we have have limited objects to be named. I encourage you to resubmit again for the next contest.
I truly believe you have spent enormous dedication on this campaign, and at the end made huge success and in reaching out the thousands and more people educating them about the science of exoplanets. Popularizing astronomy is one of the goals of the IAU, I am really proud and congratulate on your achievements. I hope you can join us again in the next contest.
